The available positions can be based out of our offices in Mississauga, Pickering/ Oshawa.
How will you contribute to the team?
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Assist in one or more areas such as:
- New Nuclear
- Operating Nuclear Plant Support
- Nuclear Refurbishment
- Site Engineering
- Research & Development
- Perform engineering tasks under the guidance of senior engineers to build technical knowledge and practical experience.
- Occasionally review the work of support staff to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Begin developing expertise in at least one core engineering discipline.
- Manage multiple assignments using strong planning and time management skills.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution and innovation.
Ideal Candidate?
- A bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, Computer Engineering (or related field) from a recognized university, with graduation in 2024 or expected completion by summer 2025.
- Post-graduate degree(s) will also be considered.
- Relevant experience in nuclear industry preferred.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage deadlines, solve problems, and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity with statistical tools or data analysis is an asset.
