How do we work?

Grow our global Sales Team (and your career)!

We seek a dynamic & proactive hunter to acquire new subscription Clients for our financial data API. Join our 4 colleagues in Toronto and help us identify, engage and convert key decision-makers within financial institutions and corporations.

We work in a hybrid model - we'd love to meet you in the office from time to time.

In this role, you will:

  • Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify new leads within target financial institutions, corporations, and related organizations.

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that clearly articulate the value proposition and technical capabilities of our API to diverse audiences, including both business and technical stakeholders.

  • Skillfully manage complex sales cycles, addressing objections, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and securing subscription agreements.

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the Office of the Controller, Finance departments, and IT teams responsible for inbound data feeds (e.g., ERP, TMS).

  • Continuously monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings to maintain a strong understanding of the evolving financial data landscape.

  • Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, including pipeline updates and revenue projections, to management.

  • Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, satisfaction, and long-term growth.

What skillset do you need to be successful in this role?

  • 3+ years pure hunter, outside sales experience with quota-crushing results.

  • Proven selling of technical solutions (SaaS/API preferred).

  • Fluent English.

  • Strong understanding of financial data landscape & systems.

  • Existing network within financial institutions (Controller, Finance, IT).

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, organized, results-driven; thrives in field sales.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

  • Knowledge of financial data governance & compliance.

Nice to have:

  • Additional language skills.
