What You’ll Be Doing

As a Sr. Analyst IT Quality Assurance, you will join CIBC’s ET QA technology team to contribute in leading and implementation of all quality assurance practices and methodologies working with business technical resources. Sr. Analyst, QA will be responsible to manage multiple medium to high complexity projects and coordinating projects. You will be managing onsite and offshore project teams and responsible to create all project related documents and will be doing some finance related to projects such as estimates, project budgeting, resource allocation etc.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Execute Testing Activities: Analyze, define, and translate business and functional requirements, use cases, designs and specifications into testing requirements. Manage and coordinate end to end testing activities for small and large projects across many teams with both onsite and offshore resources

  • Monitor and Reporting: Report and manage software concerns and test activities throughout the software development lifecycle. Provide status of testing, document and communicate issues, implement QA standards and policies.

  • Relationship Building: Respond to client's inquires and requests, providing professional high quality customer service for the assigned portfolio to ensure client satisfaction. You will interact with business and technical partners to review documents and daily management of your portfolio technology to support objectives or address issues

  • Collaboration: Work with business and technical teams to establish test plans, standards, and procedures that add value to software project and satisfy the constraints of the project by reviewing project documentation.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate strong skills in software development testing through 3 years of experience with databases e.g. Oracle/SQL Server, and knowledge of SQL, API. Experience with HP ALM and JIRA. Prior experience delivering projects using Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies.
